We're making it our mission to minimise the impact we're having on the environment.
Supporting a certified carbon reduction programme is a great way to mitigate the emmissions caused by transporting goods from one event to another. There are many projects across the world that include carbon avoidance and clean, renewable energy generation.
Based on our 2019 averages, the trucks used to transport the accommodation units to and from festivals resulted in an average of 7.3kg of CO2 emmissions per accommodation structure.
Carbon offsetting schemes can mitigate the pollution caused by road haulage, either by taking back CO2 from the atmosphere by growing new trees, or by mitigating fossil fuel use by supporting green alternatives.
In 2020 we've switched our pallet wrap to a more eco-friendly biodegradable alternative in order to reduce the amount of non-compostable plastic going to landfill. We're also working with manufacturers to develop long lasting re-usable packaging products in order to avoid single use packaging.
For just £2 you can offset 0.3 tonnes of CO2 by funding a global carbon reduction programme.
For £12.90 you can offset one tonne of CO2 emmissions by supporting the planting of trees in the UK.
